DeepSeek V4 API goes live

DeepSeek has released the V4 API to general availability, offering three tiers: V4 Flash at $0.14 per million input tokens and $0.28 per million output tokens, the standard V4 at roughly $0.27/$1.10, and V4 Pro at roughly $1.74/$3.48. DeepSeek says V4 improves coding and math performance while keeping the same OpenAI-compatible API. Existing V3 API keys continue to work but the legacy aliases deepseek-chat and deepseek-reasoner will retire on July 24.
