Anthropic annualized revenue surpasses $30B, overtaking OpenAI

According to early July reports, Anthropic's annualized revenue run-rate has surpassed $30 billion, leading OpenAI by approximately $6 billion. A year ago, the gap was in the opposite direction and larger. Anthropic's enterprise-focused strategy is paying off: continued large procurement contracts and expanded API coverage. The company projects $47 billion in revenue by 2029. Anthropic has also expanded partnerships with Google and Broadcom to deploy multi-gigawatt compute capacity in the US.
