Anthropic separates programmatic usage billing

Starting June 15, Anthropic is billing Claude Code, computer-use sessions, and other programmatic product usage separately from standard Claude chat quotas. The change means Pro and Max users may see two distinct usage meters in their accounts: one for conversational use and one for programmatic agentic use. Anthropic says this is intended to improve transparency, but power users should monitor both meters to avoid unexpected rate limits.
