Mistral AI launches first robotics model, enters physical AI

Mistral AI released its first robotics foundation model on July 8, officially entering the physical AI domain. The same day at the AI Now Summit, Mistral announced industrial AI strategic partnerships with Airbus, BMW, and ASML, applying AI to aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor engineering. Mistral also upgraded Le Chat to Vibe, adding Work Mode and VS Code integration, and announced a 10MW inference data center in Les Ulis, France.
