DeepSeek retires legacy model aliases

DeepSeek announced that the legacy API aliases deepseek-chat and deepseek-reasoner will be retired on July 24. Developers still pointing to these aliases will need to migrate to the explicit model IDs for DeepSeek-V3, DeepSeek-R1, or the new DeepSeek-V4 family. DeepSeek says the change reduces routing complexity and clarifies pricing, but legacy integrations should be updated before the deadline to avoid errors.
