Gemini Advanced is worth it if you live in Google Workspace or want a large context window and strong multimodal features. Otherwise, ChatGPT Plus is the safer default.

The caveat is ecosystem lock-in. Outside of Google services, Gemini Advanced can feel less polished than ChatGPT Plus, especially for coding and third-party integrations.
